About MAYSH Founder
As a lifetime martial artist and fitness fanatic, my philosophy of fitness is to be well-rounded across many disciplines rather than master one single area. Not everyone has the time or the resources to exercise at a gym, train at a yoga studio and train self-defense. With that in mind, I created MAYSH Fitness to combine all of those elements into one fun, effective, and time-friendly interval fitness format.

These are our core principles and are practiced in each and every class:
Function - All classes improve function......cardio, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, power, speed, mobility, defense skills.
Family - From the moment you walk in the door and see uniforms with names on the back, you get a sense of the importance of teamwork and community among team members.
Fitness - Simply put, MAYSH Fitness makes fitness and self-defense fun! When we make these things fun, they are no longer a "workout" but, a way of life.

Welcome to the future of fitness
The MAYSH Fit concept was created to give people more than just a workout. MAYSH Fit class is designed for everyone to have the opportunity to get fit, get flexible and get skilled all from one fitness class. Most of us don't have the time or money to attend a Yoga studio, and a Fitness gym, and several different Martial Arts schools...with MAYSH Fit we get the benefits of all those other facilities, custom designed in one incredible fitness class!
The MAYSH Self-defense approach to Martial Arts is to make learning Self-defense fun, and still realistic. MAYSH Self-defense classes teach serious techniques that work in real life situations, but we train in a way that’s more about having fun, and learning, and not not about proving who's the toughest. Training Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo and Wrestling, MAYSH Self-defense classes create well-rounded martial artists, in a group with the common goal of learning for fun and for knowledge, not for sport or for fighting.
Welcoming ALL skill levels...all classes are designed to challenge each individual to train at his or her own pace.
MAYSH trains realistic Martial Arts techniques from multiple disciplines including Striking (Tae Kwon Do <aka Taekwondo and TKD>, Muay Thai, Boxing) and Grappling (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu <aka BJJ>, Wrestling).
Yoga is woven into every MAYSH Fit class to promote flexibility, balance, pain relief, mindfulness and healthy breathing.
Every MAYSH Fit class trains self-defense techniques.
MAYSH Self-defense Classes for adults and for kids age 7 to 12, focus on deepening our martial arts and self-defense skills, on the feet and the ground.
MAYSH interval training blends all the elements of an intense, yet SAFE, workout by adding strength training, speed, cardio and technique into its core fitness classes.
